Mental Health and Wellbeing

We understand that children can experience different emotional needs, and this can have an impact on a child’s learning and general well-being. All children across our Federation can have access to the Pastoral team to support with this, through referrals being made by their class teacher and/or parent/carer.

Our Pastoral Team offer 1:1 work or group interventions to meet a range of emotional needs. These needs include recognising emotions; self-esteem; resilience; friendship skills; loss and bereavement.

In the first instance, please talk to your child’s class teacher if something has happened at home which you need support with.

We can also offer support to all our children and their families including parenting support and work with Early Help and other outside agencies.
