We are delighted that you are considering Livingstone Road Primary Federation for your child. We understand that choosing the right school is a very considered and important decision.

The admissions process differs according to the stage your child is at on their educational journey. We have information for children starting in Year R to Year 2 and Year 3 to Year 6.

Although our admission applications are processed for us by BCP council, we are happy to support the admissions process and do all we can to help you discover if our Federation is right for your child.

Consultation on School Admission Arrangements 2025-26

Hamwic Education Trust invites you to give your views about the proposed admission arrangements for Livingstone Road Primary Federation schools for 2025-26. You have until Wednesday 31 January 2024 to have your say. If you have any comments you would like to make about the policy, please send them to Claire Shaw, Education Access Officer, at claire.shaw@hamwic.org

How to apply

Before making an application to join Livingstone Road Infant School or Livingstone Road Junior School, we encourage you to contact us and arrange to visit the school. It is a great opportunity to find out more about Livingstone Road Primary Federation, our values and ethos, tour our facilities and meet our teaching staff.

How to apply – Year R

If your child is 4 years old or will turn four before 1 September 2025, they can start school in Reception class (Year R) in September 2025.
