Our forward-thinking approach encompasses everything from Preschool to Year 6, our dynamic curriculum, reading initiatives and our passion for children being the best they can be.
Children can join us on their learning journey in the Preschool at 2 years old, taking their first steps towards a bright future. They transfer to the infant school for Year R and then the junior school at the end of Year 2 where they will complete their primary education at the end of Year 6. As part of a federation, we ensure that children have the best-uninterrupted journey through their primary years, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge they need to thrive throughout the next chapters of their school lives.
Here at Livingstone Road Primary Federation, we recognise the individual needs of each child and aim to provide a happy, stimulating environment where every student is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our school sites are learning spaces that engage and inspire children, providing them with outstanding learning opportunities.
We ensure that all children enjoy a broad and balanced curriculum. As the gateway to all learning, reading is a key focus for every child. To encourage a love for the written word we created The Book Factory, Narnia and our Alice in Wonderland Garden. These fantastic spaces aim to bring literature to life and can be seen on our virtual tours. We are also currently in the process of developing a cutting-edge ICT suite and Art/DT room, ensuring that every child can unleash their creativity and embrace the wonders of technology.
Recently both of our schools underwent rigorous inspections by Ofsted (October 21 and November 21), and we are thrilled to share that we received a resounding ‘Good’ judgement. We are extremely proud of these outcomes, which are a testament to our remarkable team of talented and dedicated staff who go above and beyond to ensure the children in our care receive the best possible education.
Nestled within Livingstone Road Junior School premises, Kidscape at Livingstone Road offers an array of wraparound care services designed to cater to the needs of our students. From the convenient breakfast club to the engaging after-school and holiday clubs, our children can enjoy a nurturing environment even outside of regular school hours. We are proud to work in partnership with Kidscape and would highly recommend their services.
